A precursor to the acclaimed studio album Unnamed Lands, Live at MoMM was recorded in 2008 as Chapman Stick player Tom Griesgraber and guitarist Bert Lams were performing at NAMM's Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad, CA. Originally the duo had planned to do a studio release featuring much of the material featured here; new arrangements of some of Tom's solo pieces (for duo), some California Guitar Trio arrangements and some classical pieces. But upon hearing this live recording they realized that goal had been accomplished by way of capturing such a strong live show. They would then continue to work on new original music for the later release making this a stand alone set.
